- 1pm: Earl’s Oyster Stout will be on draft & in cans at BKS Artisan Ales.
- 3 to 5pm: Earl’s Premier will be onsite at BKS shucking oysters. You can purchase a half dozen oysters at a time. First come, first serve.
We had the pleasure of partnering with our friends and neighbors at Earl’s Premier to create and collaborate on a new beer to us, but a style that has been around for ages with a storied past. We present: EARL’S OYSTER STOUT!
Fresh shucked oyster shells from Earl’s were added to the boil during our brew day. The oyster shells contribute a minerality that enhances and lifts the chocolate character of the malts, while also adding a velvety-full-texture to the body of the stout. The end result is a beer that’s an excellent pairing with fresh shucked oysters.
