Counterculture Hazy IPA – 5 Year Edition
Its been in our line-up since day one of opening and would’t be right to not include it for our anniversary celebration. For this 5 Year Edition, we took our Counterculture recipe and bumped it up with two of favorite NZ hops – Nelson Sauvin & Motueka. What you get is everything you know and love about the citrusy, juicy flavor from Counterculture, then taking it over the top with the NZ hop profile of passion fruit, lemon and lime. Sapphire Clouds Hazy Double IPA
The five year anniversary gemstone is Sapphire, so we took our gem of a DIPA, Clouds, and added NZ Riwaka & German Saphir, along with an extra dose of Citra in addition to Mosaic, El Dorado and Simcoe that are always in Clouds.
Holstein Milk Stout (Coconut & Vanilla Beans)
We used nearly 1lb of coconut per gallon and selected a blend of several varieties of vanilla beans to amp up the coconut profile. And here is the best part, we kept the Milk Stout at a sessionable 6% ABV with tons of decadent coconut and vanilla character. Keep it cold and drink this one fresh, as the coconut flavor is at its peak. Holstein was one of the first beers we brewed when we opened in 2017, but this is the first time we’ve released a coconut & vanilla bean variant. We hope you enjoy.
Pivo Project Anniversary Pilsner
A special pilsner we made in honor of the BKS Artisan Ales 5 year anniversary that is influenced by various international lagers & pilsners from Mexico, Italy, Germany & the Czech Republic. This mash-up pilsner was brewed with a blend of German Pilsner malts and hopped with Spalter Select, Hallertau Mittelfruh & Saphir hops. Fermented and lagered for over 10 weeks, this pilsner represents the type of lager we want to drink while celebrating with friends.
Chur Thing Unfiltered NZ Style IPA dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin & Exp. NZ hops
We brought back a version of Chur Thing that was one of our most favorite beers from 2022 that also received a 98/100 rating in the recent Craft Beer and Brewing IPA issue. This batch features an experimental New Zealand hop, along with Nelson Sauvin.
