The months of October and November have been all about collaborations with friends that have helped us in our first year. We are excited to be releasing 2 of the collaborations this Friday. Here is what we have scheduled for this weekend.
Black Friday Can Release
We are releasing 3 beers in 16oz cans on Friday, 11/23, starting at 4pm.
- Pine Tree IPA: Our first round for 2018 of our Holiday IPA in cans. A New England style IPA that features Chinook and Simcoe hops. Big pine and grapefruit notes dominate. We’re also really excited about the malt we selected for this years version. We’ll have two more can releases of Pine Tree in December, so stay tuned !
- Denim Vest IPA: Our collaboration with Ballast Point features Cashmere and Citra hops. The beer is named in tribute to Brian’s friendship with Aaron Justus from Ballast Point that dates back to their years in college. Let’s just say there was a denim vest that was often worn by one (or both of them) that has a good story behind it.
- Holstein milk stout birthday cake and coffee: This batch of Holstein is a collaboration with Oddly Correct Coffee Roasters. We both recently celebrated our anniversaries – Oddly Correct 10 years and BKS Artisan Ales 1 year. We talked about the day after a big birthday celebration and what you do……get a leftover slice of that birthday cake and brew up some great coffee to go with it. To accomplish this, we used Oddly Correct’s Guatemala Finca La Colmenita coffee, as well as malts and ingredients that replicate the taste of a chocolate birthday cake with chocolate icing.
These will be in a mixed 4-pack with 2 Pine Tree cans, 1 Denim Vest can and 1 Holstein can.
We also have a few 22oz bottles left of our Biere de Ferme Wild White (dry hopped barrel-aged sour) and Fleur de Citra Sour Saison (dry hopped with Citra and navel oranges).

Tasting Room Hours
Yes, we are open every Friday now! Our tasting room hours are Friday 4 to 8pm, Saturday 12 to 7pm and Sunday 1 to 5pm.
