BKS March Mad-ness (not basketball related)

March is going to be a fun month at BKS Artisan Ales! Here is what we have planned.

Friday 13th – Can Release x2

Friday, March 13 is a double can release with Pink Boots and Double Double (Green Label). Pink Boots NEIPA was brewed by Mary (our co-owner with husband Brian). It will be available to-go in cans and on-tap. We will also have pink BKS t-shirts! A portion of the proceeds from the beer and t-shirts will go to the Pink Boots Society. Double Double DIPA (Green Label) will be back in cans and on tap on Friday as well.

Saturday 14th – St. Patrick’s Day Warm-Up

If you are in the Brookside area for the parade or just want to get “warmed-up” for St. Pat’s, stop by BKS! We will be open 12 to 9pm on Saturday, March 14. Heirloom Bakery & Hearth will be onsite with Reuben’s, Shepherd’s hand pies and other delicious Irish fare. Food starting at 12 and will be available until it is sold out. Also, if you are looking for a green t-shirt for St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got a few green BKS shirts left.

POSTPONED – Thursday 19th – Pop-up Opening

We will be open from 6:30 to 9pm on Thursday March 19th for a Pop-Up opening. If it goes well, maybe Thursdays will be a regular occurrence this spring (hint, hint).

POSTPONED – Friday 27th – Bay Boy Specialty Sandwiches

We are excited to have the wonderful Bay Boy Specialty Sandwiches on-site Friday, March 27! More details on this coming soon.

POSTPONED – Tuesday 31st – Southtown Showcase

Come see us at the Southtown Showcase on Tuesday March 31 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Brookside Gardens. This fun event showcases local restaurants, food and drink vendors, businesses and organizations from across South Central KC, Brookside, Troost, University District, Waldo & the surrounding areas. Also, we plan to have our tasting room open from 6 to 9pm on 3/31.

As always, we thank you for the support and hope to see you this month!
